IC 101 Is Now Available!
IC 101: It's Not Just A Bladder Disease offers a new approach to the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis, bladder pain syndrome, hypersensitive bladder syndrome and chronic overlapping pain conditions. Recognizing that a "one treatment fits all approach" has failed millions, it introduces newly diagnosed and veteran patients to a new sub typing system that may help patients determine the actual cause of their symptoms. Patients who have had "normal" bladders for years will learn that structures outside of their bladder may be the actual source of their dysfunction. Patients with visible bladder wall irritation will learn the many potential, and preventable, triggers for bladder wall irritation and dysfunction.

As a long-time IC patient of 34 years, I have read and researched extensively over the years and have tried many different treatments/approaches. Thus, I wasn't sure how useful it would be for me. However, I really enjoyed reading through it to see what is new, what I had forgotten and what is no longer being done. The bladder subtypes are very interesting and I enjoy the exercises and stretching. It has been a good overview and refresher for me to bring me up to date. I now find that I'm going back to it over and over again to reference information especially when I'm having a flare up. It's like having a knowledgeable friend to turn to for guidance. I showed the book to my urologist to make him aware. I think that all IC/BPS sufferers, especially the newly diagnosed, will benefit from IC 101. Thank-you to you and your team for your ongoing efforts to bring information, education and support to the IC community. You are truly appreciated. - DBC (March 2022)
IC 101 is just what I needed to bring me up to date with some of the latest information on IC. It covers all the bases. I was not even aware of the pelvic floor or physical therapy for it until the PA I am working with mentioned it to me. The book has become a handy go-to guide for a lot of up-to-date information. It is well-written and easy to read. Topics of interest are easy to fine with the table of contents and the index or just paging through the book guided by the bold chapter titles and subject headings. The layout is very effective and the font is a good size. The spiral binding makes it easy to open the book flat for easy reading. The book would be a valuable tool to any newly diagnosed IC patient or a veteran one like me, a very young 83-year-old retired teacher😊. I was diagnosed after I retired so it didn’t affect my work. Great job! The book is quite an accomplishment. I love it. Thanks for all you do for IC patients. - JS
I have been suffering with IC for thirty years. There is no cure but we have come a long way in learning how to manage it. If you suffer with IC this book is a "must have." It is the most comprehensive book I have ever read on IC and covers every aspect of this disease from diagnosis to proper treatment and management. I have been fortunate enough to actually speak with Jill Osbourne, co author of this book ,when I was flaring so badly I thought I could not go on. Jill is president and founder of Interstitial Cystitis Network and is both brilliant and compassionate. Her work has been recognized as best on the web by Harvard Medical School and University of London. After having suffered from this disease for thirty years it has only been on the last few years progress has been made on learning how to manage this beast of a disease. As I said earlier this book is a "must have" for every IC patient. - Marsha Gowen - Amazon Five Stars
I have had IC/Pelvic Pain Syndrome for 6yrs. When first diagnosed, I had to do all of the same research that is now condensed into this fantastic book. I think the book is excellent for beginning as well as seasoned IC patients. I consider this book well written by the authors and a great resource supplement for anyone's library. I can't wait for a second addition. - Donna Townsend - Amazon 5 Stars
